Crock pot chicken
1 whole chicken
2 potatoes diced
2 sweet potatoes,diced
2 carrots, diced
2 stalks of celery, sliced
2 Tbsp oil divided
1 large onion, diced
2 heads of garlic-halved
1 tbsp plus 1 tsp paprika
2 tsp salt divided
2-3 sprigs each rosemary and thyme
Place the vegetables in the bottom of the crock pot and season with 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp oil and the sprigs of rosemary and thyme.
Pat the chicken dry and top the vegetables with the chicken. Runs with salt paprika and oil.
Place on the crockpot on medium heat for 6-8 hours. (Optional) Broil for a few minutes with a watchful eye to brown the top. Wait ten minutes before serving with a squeeze of lemon.
