Ala Vodka Sauce
Ala vodka sauce with fresh mozzarella
1 box pasta cooked al dente in boiling salted water
¼ cup butter
2 cloves garlic, grated
½ teaspoon chili flakes
2 tablespoon tomato paste
2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
¼ cup vodka
1 cup crushed tomatoes
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons sugar
¼ cup grated parmesan
1 package mini mozzarella balls
Sliced Scallions and chili flakes to top
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the chili flakes, tomato paste and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add in the balsamic vinegar and vodka and stir until integrated.
Add the sugar, salt, tomatoes, cream, and parmesan. Stir until integrated and simmer for about 10 minutes until reduced.
Add in the pasta and toss to coat.
Top with mozzarella balls, scallions and chili flakes and serve warm.
